I had the pleasure of presenting a paper at the 17th Conference of the European Sociological Association in Warshaw, entitled From Egocentric to Ecocentric Orientations?  Analysing Evidence on a Hypothetical Post-individualist Turn

🌿. The study was conducted in collaboration with prof. dr Matej Makarovič

We draw on various quantitative data to explore societal trends suggesting an urge towards collectivism and new forms of belonging. 🙌

But the question remains: can collective identities be inclusive? Can we observe a recognisable shift towards more universalist orientations that ultimately involve the rise of planetary consciousness?

The presentation feeds into the research activities of the Jean Monnet Chair IC4EU, enriching the pedagogical contents and strengthening the links with relevant stakeholders in the field.
